This expresses the intensity of emotions that are displayed by all women in the span of their lives.
Often the theatrics we display can have a cathartic effect.
I think we should be proud of our performances. It illustrates the creative human beings that we are and will continue to be.
I used analogous colors so that no individual color distracts from the impact of the composition.
What drama have you created and what were you trying to accomplish with the theatrics?

All of Melanie's paintings pluck the strings of my being, but as my life has been a soap opera of self design, Drama Queen resonates most familiarly. It rings with my 78 year old sense of freedom, flamboyancy, hugging without fear of being taken wrong.
I will take the essence of Drama Queen with me as I model clothes, sell my books and CD's and give the keynote speech, which is really a dramatic performance, at a benefit for Project C.U.R.E. to raise funds for sending more shipments of medical supplies and equipment to the most needy countries in the world, 111 so far.
